I’m smack in the middle of transformation…physically from one woman’s phase to another…mentally from corporate connie to spiritual-entrepreneur connie (still working on the thought processes involved with this one) and emotionally from…well…who the hell knows what this is as all sorts of emotions are boiling up as a result of the first two areas.
It’s not coincidental that all this transformation is mimicking what’s happening in our relationships, in our community, in our society and all over the world…mentally, physically, spirituality.
I get exhausted when reading old age and new age stuff. Old Age: how lousy everything is…how negative everything is…how hopeless it is…all the rules, the politics, life is unfair, and the fight for this and that. New age: how it is a consciousness evolution to the 4th or 5th dimensions, the shift in Mother Nature, “lightworkers”, getting back to our core beliefs and values (they’ve changed in every generation since we started haven’t they?), the stress on our emotional and mental sensitivities…basically, the energies of everything.
Heck, that’s the stuff I say…and I’m exhausted!
When I used to get overwhelmed in my corporate job as an administrative assistant, I’d clear off all the piles of work on my desk, rip up all the to-do lists, put everything away…then reset myself and start over, simplifying it as I went along. We can get “wrapped up in the axle” that we don’t see how complicated things get.
So times like these, when I want to clear everything off, old age or new age, and go back to basic energies, I ponder…
If we know we are expressions of Great Oneness of Divinity, then everything else are just names and labels.
And if we know that the purpose of this love expression is for service and joy, then everything else is just a to-do list.
And we don’t need to make it a big to-do.
This is probably going to be one of those “easier said than done” kinds of things but I’d like to go through my day more simply, keeping in mind a wonder-ful expression of Great Oneness of Divinity in joy and service to those around me.
Einstein said it like this: “I want to know God’s thoughts; the rest are details.”
Sounds pretty simple to me.
